PAPILIO MINI - vase with lid

This small handcrafted vase, inspired by the graceful shape of the butterfly, is a harmonious blend of natural materials and contemporary design. Crafted from high-quality borosilicate glass, it features unique stone components that embrace the glass, made from fragments of Italian rock naturally dried in the open air. The vase consists of four pieces to be assembled without a permanent connection, a distinctive characteristic of COKI's designs and follows a conscious life-cycle approach.

The Papilio Collection includes two designs (Mini & Magno) inspired by the life stages of butterflies (from the Latin Papilio). The sustainable stone components identify the extension of the body, the wings and antennas, while the painted glass cylinder outlines the abdomen. The stone, a testament to our commitment to sustainability, is meticulously handcrafted from fragments of natural Italian rocks sourced from Tuscany and Veneto. This innovative material, inspired by ancient Roman techniques, is truly one-of-a-kind as it does not contain glue or cement. It is dried naturally in the open air, under the sun, to ensure ever greater environmental sustainability.

The surface of the handcrafted stone piece is treated with an ecological substance developed by COKI.

GLASS CLEANING AND CARE

Clean the bottom inside of the vase simply filling it with wine vinegar and letting it sit for a whole day. Then pour the vinegar into a closed glass or plastic bottle and save it for the next use (do not throw the vinegar in the toilet or sink, it damages aquatic organisms). Rinse the jar with water and dry with a soft cloth.

STONE CLEANING AND CARE

• Do not wash, do not wet

• Clean the surface with vacuum cleaner only

• The stone's color becomes brighter and clearer within 2-3 months due to the natural absorption process of the surface treatment, which is based on ancient techniques of the artisan tradition.
