Coki Barbieri — Architect & Designer Founder of COKI Studio · Italy · Established 2017

Coki Barbieri is an Italian architect and product designer whose practice explores the expressive potential of natural stone and glass through innovation and ancient craft.

After graduating in Architecture and Interior Design and specialising in sustainable building systems, she dedicated years to researching natural, non-industrial materials. Her vision moved from eco-conscious architecture to collectible design: creating objects that are both sculptural and safe for the home, free from petroleum-based binders and synthetic resins.

In 2019, Barbieri presented Rocklumìna, her first iconic table lamp, at SaloneSatellite — curated by Marva Griffin — marking the beginning of COKI Studio. Founded in 2017 and based in the hills of Rimini, the studio now creates small-batch, patented objects for galleries, retailers, and interiors worldwide, merging Italian geology, ancient Roman stonecraft, and flame-worked glass by a single master artisan.
