COKI is a material and craft practice grounded in long-term research into mineral tradition and flame-worked glass.
The work develops through direct engagement with matter. Material behaviour is observed, tested, and allowed to stabilise over time.
Each piece is formed through slow, manual processes inspired by ancient mineral traditions. Matter is not forced into shape, but guided until it reveals structural balance.
Function is present, but never dominant. The focus remains on presence, material intelligence, and the relationship between object, duration, and environment.
Sustainability is not declared as a position. It emerges naturally from working without cement, synthetic binders, or industrial casting processes.

Rocklumìna
Handcrafted lamps combining natural rock salt crystals and borosilicate glass. Each piece diffuses light through mineral texture and calibrated structure, creating a controlled interplay of glow and material depth. A contemporary lighting object rooted in elemental matter and precise construction.

Cochlea
Sculptural vases crafted from natural composite stone and flame-worked borosilicate glass. Separatelypiece explores structural balance and material precision through hand-shaped stone elements and hand-bent glass, assembled without fixings. A contemporary expression of collectible design rooted in mineral research and controlled form.

Catharsis
Sculptural objects in natural composite stone and flame-worked glass, defined by fractured geometry and controlled tension. Each piece is hand-shaped from mineral-based stone and assembled without industrial binders, combining raw material presence with structural clarity. A study in transformation through form and matter.
Collectible sculptural objects in natural composite stone and flame-worked glass by Coki Barbieri. A material-driven practice rooted in balance, transformation, and structural clarity.
